Nov 28, 2007: Winston has made remarkable success by his use of the Apple iPod (video) in Aphasia therapy. The videos were created by "taping" one of Winston's friends from church who is a gifted musician. He was able to speak melodically and with tempo (imagine it as making a song out of a sentence - a kind of pnemonic) so the phrases become more memorable to the listener.

The best way to find Winston's videos on YouTube is to enter the keyword "WinGOGlobal" or "wingoglobal" in the search box. It will display Winston's videos, since no one but Winton's webteam is using this keyword (so far). When the videos were posted Winston's team tried not to use too many keywords or tags, since common words like "recovery", "brain", "speech" are overwhelming since that yields thousands of postings. The team focused on three main keywords: "wingoglobal"; "aphasia"; and "stroke" (with occasional extras like Darlene, Boroondara, and Lloyd Knight, depending on the contents of the clips).
